APACHE TROUT Oncorhynchus apache The Apache is a rare trout native to the White Mountains of Arizona. The body is a bit thicker than that of other trout, the fins larger, and the eyes have a black band throught them that gives the fish a “bandit” look. I painted this one from a photo sent to me by Adam Trahan, editor of smallstreams.com. |
